An 'orchard grade' is a tree that may be somewhat shorter, slightly crooked, or a bit scratched, or for some other reason is not a perfect front lawn specimen. These trees will work just as well in an orchard as a first or number one would, since they still produce the very same fruit.

Greenish-purple mottled skin covers the rich, honey sweet, burgundy-red flesh with dribble off-your-chin juiciness. Like all pluots, Flavor Supreme® boasts a substantially higher sugar content than either a plum or an apricot can attain on it's own. It will cross-pollinate with other pluots or a Japanese plum such as Santa Rosa.
